Founder of Broker-Carrier Summit Goes “All In” on Transforming Broker-Carrier Relationships
FISHERS, IN (May 31, 2024) – Dan Lindsey, Founder and President of the fast-growing Broker-Carrier Summit, today announced he is transitioning away from Linkage Logistics, Inc., the freight brokerage he co-founded and has served as Vice President since March 2020. The move allows Lindsey to double down on his efforts with the Broker-Carrier Summit as he pursues his mission to transform relationships between brokers and carriers across the logistics industry.
Linkage Logistics, based in Fishers, Indiana, links U.S. shippers across industries with motor carriers to move goods quickly, efficiently, and with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Under Lindsey’s leadership over the past 18 months, the Broker-Carrier Summit has rapidly grown into the top event for brokers and carriers to build meaningful connections and identify legitimate players.
“The relationships between brokers and carriers are crucial for our industry, but have often been strained,” said Lindsey. “I’m committed to fostering open communication, enhancing education, and creating more opportunities for meaningful personal connections between these vital partners. The success of the Broker-Carrier Summit demonstrates there is intense demand and eagerness to transform these relationships.”
The next Broker-Carrier Summit will be held October 23-25 in Fort Worth, Texas. It is expected to draw hundreds of brokers and carriers for three days of networking, education, and community building.
Lindsey continued, “This movement is so important to our industry, it demands 100% of my attention. I’m thrilled that I can concentrate fully on nurturing the BCS movement and supporting our ever-growing, highly engaged community. Our mission of bringing more transparency, trust, and collaboration to the freight industry is just getting started, and I’m more excited than ever for what we are doing.”
