About these terms

These terms cover your use of brokercarriersummit.com and the BCS attendee app, both run by BCS Freight Network, LLC ("BCS", "we", "us"), the company behind Broker Carrier Summit. By using the website or the app you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use the app

• The app is for registered attendees of Broker Carrier Summit events.
• You sign in with your email address and the access code we emailed you. Each code is for one person.
• Keep your access code private. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

Tickets

• All ticket sales are final. Refunds are not issued.
• You may transfer your ticket to another person. Email us to make the change.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms.
• We may change the agenda, speakers, sessions, or other event details. We will tell registered attendees about important changes.

Using the attendee directory

Every confirmed attendee is listed in the directory by default. You must opt in inside the app before you can view it, and you can hide yourself any time in Profile.

The directory is for professional networking related to the event. When you use it, you agree not to:

• copy, scrape, export, or collect attendee information in bulk;
• send spam or unwanted bulk messages to people you find in the directory;
• harass, threaten, or mislead anyone; or
• sell or share directory information with anyone else.

We may remove anyone from the app or the event who breaks these rules.

Your profile

You are responsible for what you add to your profile. It must be accurate and must not break anyone's rights or the law. You allow us to show your profile to other confirmed attendees in the app while you are listed in the directory. You can edit, hide, or delete your profile at any time.

Deleting your app account

You can delete your app account in the app under Profile, or on our account deletion page. Your ticket and payment record are kept for accounting, and your ticket stays valid. We keep registration and payment records as long as needed for the event, accounting and legal obligations (generally up to 7 years for payment records), and delete app profile details on request.

Other websites

The app may link to other sites, such as LinkedIn profiles. We are not responsible for those sites or their content.

Disclaimers and limits

The website and app are provided as they are. We work to keep them available and accurate, but we do not promise they will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, BCS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the website or app, and our total liability for any claim about them is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes we will update this page and change the effective date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
